It works well with pipes and conduit with the help of a V-groove, which keeps it stable. It also has a magnetic edge that lets you use the level hands-free when working with pipes. For clear overhead visibility of readings, there is a top read window. The Empire Level box beam level has a built-in hang hole as well for storage.
