The 18V Metabo HG 18 LTX 500 bare cordless dual temperature heat gun is engineered and manufactured for durability, safety, and productivity. Within just 5 seconds the tool reaches an operating temperature of 572°F, which is 40% faster than a corded model. The heat gun has two separate temperature levels with level 1 heating up to 572°F and level 2 reaching 932°F, making it the first cordless heat gun performing at a corded level. Its slim and ergonomic non-slip, rubber-coated grip, lock-on button, and attachment point for a tool balancer allow for maximum comfort while working. The integrated LED light illuminates of the work area. Excellent performance can be achieved thanks to a maximum air volume of 7.0 cf during a variety of applications such as stripping paint, shaping, heat shrinking, plastic welding, and thawing. When using an 8.0 Ah LiHD battery pack, the tool has an average run time of over 20 minutes. The package includes a wrap-around nozzle (630004000) and a reducing nozzle (630005000).
