The Makita 7-1/4 Inch circular saw features a 15 Amp motor that delivers an operating speed of 5800 RPM for durability. Wraparound base is made from heavy gauge aluminum for added strength. Saw provides a large cutting capacity of 2-1/2 Inch at 90 degree, 1-3/4 Inch at 45 degree, 1-3/8 Inch at 56 degree and a beveling capacity of 0 to 56 degree with positive stops at 22.5 degree, 45 degree and 56 degree. High power-to-weight ratio and the ball bearing construction produce straighter cuts. Markings on the depth and bevel scales are easy to read. Flat motor housing makes sure the saw is stable while changing the blades and the shaft lock makes it easy to change the blades. Built-in dust blower clears the line of cut from any dust. Carbide-tipped framing blade with an advanced tooth design delivers easy and sharp cuts and is designed to endure tough jobsite conditions.
